How to Cancel Your Services
We want to make sure cancellations are handled smoothly. Here’s what you need to know:
📨 Step 1: Send Us a Written Request
- To begin, please send us a message through Insight.
- This allows us to start the cancellation process, notify the right folks on our team to engage, and coordinate the cancellation on our end.
📝 Step 2: Complete the Cancellation Form
- After we receive your request, we’ll send you a cancellation form electronically from our e-signing tool, PandDoc.
- The form must be filled out and returned to confirm your cancellation.
- If the form isn’t completed, your services will remain active.
💳 Step 3: Make Sure Your Account Is Current
- All payments must be up to date for a cancellation to be valid.
- If your account has an outstanding balance, the cancellation cannot be processed until it’s resolved.
⏱️ Important Details About Timing & Fees
- Notice period: the cancellation has to be before the 15th of that month to be cancelled that month — for example, if cancelled on September 10, the cancellation is for September; if cancelled on September 19, the cancellation won’t be until October.
During the first year
- An early termination fee equal to one month of service will apply.
- Any discounts given upon signing will be reversed and re-billed.
After the first year
- No early termination fee.
- No reversal of discounts.
- Note: If you submit your cancellation request after the 15th, BKE will complete that month of services as well as collect and complete the following month of services.
- Example: If you notify BKE on August 16 that you’d like to cancel, BKE will complete August books, plus bill for and complete September books.
✅ In summary: To cancel, begin the process by messaging us via BKE Insight. Then complete the electronic cancellation form, and make sure your account is current. If you’re still within your first year, standard early termination fees and discount adjustments apply. After your first year, cancellations are free of additional charges.
