We are pleased to announce that BookKeeping Express, a national company providing professional bookkeeping services geared toward the specific needs of small businesses, has chosen the City of Newport News for its newest location!Founded in California in 1984, BookKeeping Express (BKE) eventually grew into a large national company through its license model. It was purchased in 2007, and a year later debuted as a franchise model headquartered in Northern Virginia. Under the visionary leadership of
entrepreneur and BKE CEO Greg Jones, the company now has more than 40 franchise locations across the U.S. and three licensed offices in Canada.
Located at 11719-B Jefferson Avenue in Newport News and comprising approximately 2,400 square feet, BKE’s new Hampton Roads office will initially employ a staff of 3-5 people with plans to grow that number to 25-30 after 18 months.
